- Quite odd I see most votes for hellbringer fury yet no builds posted. I get the soulbinder damnation is extremely powerful in t2 dungeons due to the puppet (arguably the strongest) due to an exploit with the puppet buffs. And I know that fury hellbringer used to be the best max damage due to the flames of empowerment. But after mod 6 you don't see many hellbringer fury builds posted due to the survivability issue0
- Hell bringer Fury, overall, still seems to be the best from my experimentation this week.. I will be looking to post an update of my original Mod 6 build in the coming week or two.0
- Hellbringer damnation would definitely be max dmg for T2 dungeons like eCC and eToS with NPNM/FoE for class feats. But soulbinder damnation is more practical and survivable for general use.Sopi (aka Haxbox) SW [Synergy]
Sopi SW Youtube channel pvp brickabrack - R.e kolat.. that's great to hear. Did enjoy reading your build before. Think with all the negativity on the forums it's easy for new players to be put off by the class and its good to see existing veterans posting their ideas with the class. Makes a welcoming change0
- my experience is SB fury performed far worse than SB Damnation in all Dungeons not only T2, fury was behind the damage I could deal even running elol or VT
HB Damnation outdamages SB Damnation in comparison in T2, SB is far easier to handle than HB
If you build a new warlock I never ever would recomment going Hellbringer path, its a pain for new player
Sure having GS 3k+ makes HB more suitebale, but >90% of all player do not have that Gearscore0 - Fury overall. NPNM can be easily replaced with.. proper placing in battle. FoE = Burning Soul, Offhand has feature for both paths increasing damage (even more for Soulbinder). But Soulbinder has better survivability.
For SWs with GS less than 3k damnation will be better - wraight will do insane damage (in T2 mostly) regardless iLVL.https://youtube.com/c/FernuStormborn
Mod 10:
[Combat (Self)] Critical Hit! Your Killing Flames deals 16636893 (1009292) Fire Damage to Ethraniev Marrowslake.
Mod 9:
[Combat (Self)] Your Murderous Flames deals 376274433 (18876929) Fire Damage to Red Tiamat Head.
Just wanted to correct my above statement..kolatmaster said:Hell bringer Fury, overall, still seems to be the best from my experimentation this week.. I will be looking to post an update of my original Mod 6 build in the coming week or two.
After quite a bit more testing, I must say that Soulbinder Fury is more then likely the way to go. It really does have an absurd damage output, and more then likely when I update my guide that is what I'll be posting!
If I could edit my above statements/vote, I would. But 'yay' Vanilla Forums.. lol0- Member, NW M9 PlaytestPosts: 3,246Arc Useri am playing atm a 2k hellbringer fury. compare it to damnation i am happy to able to do solo my dailies and decent damage in a dungeon ( i mean i am not weight). Damnation do that damage because buffs is x on puppet instead +.
- Member, NW M9 PlaytestPosts: 1,161Arc UserWell i beated hellbringers fury with my temptation, lower il, i cant see how it can be any good but ok.. i mean Dust to Dust and tyranica threat spam does great damage and one can still put all consuming curse with off hand feature... Apart from this most SW bis i've seen are SB.0
- edited September 2015there nothing to beat dust to dust combined with TT i think,
imo Hellbringer is no option atm except on single target, but even on single target contesting against a Soulbinder it is weaker cause of Soul Scorch
only Hellbringer that beats my SB damnation is a HB damnation, his puppet deals even much more crazy damage with redicules cheap gear
but this spec will be very poor doing solo dailies etc0 - I went for soulbinder fury. In t2s the damnation build does insane damage on t2s but I don't like the inconsistent damage across pve game modes. The soulbinder fury can produce amazing damage (single target dot) and if enough AP gain can breeze through trash
It offers more survivability to hellbringer fury (dead dps = 0dps). I utilise the dark revelry feat in the temptation tree as I recall people claiming warlocks offer nothing to a party, and as I can maintain the buff permenantly it's 20% power and movement speed for the whole party. (25% more group effective dps). It is good for all pve gamemodes, and can hold its own even in pvp0 - I use Damnation for PvE and PvP and I am averaging about 130-165 million on the longer fight dungeons, I could not do that as a Hell Damnation specc. One reason, as many has already said, Soulbinder has a higher level of survival with the burst of immolation and my item level puts me under the 4.0 IL GWF, mind you, I built my SW around PvE dungeons this mod.I may not be considered by most the BEST PVP Warlock on the server but, I am the most HATED amongst them.
-Kymos - Soubinder damnation hands down, best dmg ecounter, way more survivabiletie than hellbringer.0
- So much for votes for Soulbinder Damnation..?
'Scourge Warlock: Soul Puppet: If your soul puppet gets more than 100' from you, it will teleport back to you.
Scourge Warlock: Spiritfire: This feat now correctly calculates your weapon damage.
Scourge Warlock: Warlock's Bargain: Resolved an issue where If damage you take would kill you, you will no longer reflect damage from that hit. '0 - edited September 2015SB damnation outdamages fury in most cases , even T1 skirmishes etc
i played all paths, from HB Temp to HB fury to SB fury to SB damnation
fact is , even in T1 your puppet deals good damage (in case it does not refuse its works), not only T2
on top you have 20 seconds of immolation spirits, nearly all time up on single target, they really hurt and in case they crit refill your SS faster as you could cast them away
no creeping death can top this except you play a HB fury that uses immolation spirits?
that would be probably better, probabaly in case you had a soulpuppet on top, no its for sure SB damnation0
You should probably check the patch notes I put right above your comment, specifically:schietindebux said:

That's the feat that was calculating incorrectly for Soul Puppet damage, right?
(If not no worries, just from my understanding that's the reason Soul Puppets were/are doing stupid damage and won't be as of next week.._)0- edited September 2015
let´s see what happens, if puppet its fixed i swap back to fury for sure, because damnation sucks going solo ((kolatmaster said:

but as far as I understand this patchnote your puppet will deal even more damage because this feat was heavy underperforming dealing about 100 damage per tick or a bit more
so in case thats the big rework of warlock I only have to say..they did not understand anything and buffed the wrong tree
'If your soul puppet gets more than 100' from you, it will teleport back to you.'
...refers to the fact taht the puppet stays outside doors at boss fights, hope 100`is enough distance taht the silly thing will follow
Scourge Warlock: Warlock's Bargain: Resolved an issue where If damage you take would kill you, you will no longer reflect damage from that hit.
..only read about some warlocks that instant killed some dragons by reflecting damage in SH dragonfights? never happend to me that way
Well then..Soulbinder fury!kolatmaster said:

Incorrect. Before the patch, Spiritfire was supposed to cause the puppet to damage nearby foes for 50% of your weapon damage, but was only doing about 10%. The patch fixed this and it correctly deals 50% of weapon damage.kolatmaster said:

Neverwinter Warlock Best Dmg Mod 12 1
Guides » Neverwinter Builds Change Log
Warlock GuideThe Warlock was the first character I made on Neverwinter, and it’s by far my favorite class. I recommend Tiefling or Dragonborn as your race. This guide is for DPS warlocks who want a healing loadout when their group is desperate while forming a queue. I want to emphasize this is not a BiS healer build. This is a hybrid Heal/DPS Warlock guide. Also, if you're pugging, you might end up being on top of all the charts at the end (except most deaths hopefully). You can almost solo stuff like CN if needed. The best part of being a healer is trash talking all the DPS, so that's a nice bonus to using this loadout. This blue staff has an item level of 47. In the Staves category. Added in Classic World of Warcraft. Dupastas ur a freakin noob druids arnt the only ones who can use + nature damage fyi shamans can too. Wow i knew druids thought they were all that but geez. Comment by Allakhazam. The Best and Worst BoE Drops in Classic WoW. Blue staff puppies. The Best and Worst BoE Drops in Classic WoW. Because melee weapon skill increases the damage of glancing blows. Wish we could mail older BoE gear & such to alts on Classic. Finally got a Staff of Jordan on my mage after it was no longer an upgrade & I still have it stashed away unused. A complete searchable and filterable list of all Staves in World of Warcraft: Classic. Always up to date with the latest patch (1.13.3). I'd even say that this level 55 blue staff is superiour to this level 56 epic one. +22 intellect. I was really curious about the +30 spell dmg enchant. With the +fire/frost damage on the Elemental Mage Staff and the +30 spell dmg I was hoping for great results. The Best and Worst BoE Drops in Classic WoW WoW Classic Mage DPS Guide. Below are some of the popular BoE items in the level 30-39 range, either notable for their damage or their appearances. You can find a full list of BoEs using our item database filters and see which stand out in The Best and Worst BoEs in Classic WoW. Staff of Jordan - Requires level 35. Stats and GearThe idea is to stack as much Power and Crit Strike as possible for healers. Armor Penetration, Accuracy, and Defense should still be capped, or at least close. To help with healing, your Ability Score points should be put into Wisdom and Dexterity or Intelligence. To cap crit on healing, you will need 50k more than your power. Generally, that's something you have to build around carefully in order to cap it, but this is a loadout for desperate times. So just do the best you can, maybe get some high-crit pet gear (if the almighty Zok decides to bless you). My Primary Artifact is the Envenomed Storyteller's Journal. If you want to be nice to your party though, you can use any party buffing artifact. Some of those are: Frozen Storyteller's Journal, Charm of the Serpent, Lantern of Revelation, Wyvern Knives, Halaster's Blast Scepter, Heart of the Black Dragon. Thirst is another good party buff artifact, but cancelling the animation is tricky, and it's inconvenient to be thrown across the room. Thirst is better suited for tanks. The Demo set is arguably Best in Slot for dealing damage, so that's what I use. I can't be bothered to make a set of gear for healing with it's own enchantments, so I just use my DPS stuff. It doesn't make that much of a difference anyways, so just use what you want. Feats and Powers
If your group ends up actually needing you to heal, that's okay. Just swap out CB for Pillar of Power and put it under the tank. The melee dps can figure out how to get the buff without dying, so don't worry about them. The tank is always the priority. CompanionsYou can use whatever pets you want, honestly. But if you happen to stumble upon some outgoing-heal pets or there's money burning a hole in your inventory, they're worth using. But please, for the love of Corellon, don't buy a Quickling. That's way too much AD for such a small stat. You're better off using a Tamed Velociraptor. If you don't have anything with outgoing healing, then power, crit, or whatever pets you use on your DPS loadout should be fine. After all, this is just a build for your party to sneak in an extra DPS under the healer role. BoonsFor boons, the important part is to make sure you max out Power and HP. If you aren't capped on defense, I strongly recommend spending points there. Movement and Companion Influence are also a priority. For the tier 2 boons you can take AP gain instead of crit severity; it's your personal preference. Just use the outgoing heal bonus and you should be fine. The best Master Boon is Blessed Advantage. Nov 27, 2017 Scourge Warlock – End Game PvE Build – Mod 12. Welcome to the Mod 12 Warlock Build/Guide. Not much has changed over the past few Mod Updates. The Warlock currently is sitting on the bottom of the DPS list. Don’t get discouraged though. You can still dish out some damage, just not as good as other classes currently. Jul 12, 2018 Companions. Neverwinter has a LOT of companions to choose from. For DPS classes, you will want a companion that boosts your damage. Not all companions are created equally, however. This is a list of the best damage companions and some notes about using them effectively. Jul 16, 2019 My build for HellBringer Warlock for Neverwinter Mod 16. This has cleared LoMM comfortably and for single target puts up some very good damage AoE I have done what I can but feel we lack in. The Complete Warlock Hellbringer DPS Build – Neverwinter Mod 16 Undermountain Welcome to our Warlock Hellbringer Guide, updated for mod 16: Undermountain and Level 80. In this guide, we will give you tips and info on how to play the Warlock class, previously called the Scourge Warlock. Warlock is a joke class, Cryptic doesn't care about this class. A lot of us claiming for a help, rework, etc for DPS since mod 10. They don't want to hear us, and to be honest they only want DPS/DPS classes to be viable damage dealers.
